the directions and directly you will be directed in the right
direction. |

Step
#1 - Create
an account. It's free, easy, and all you need is a valid
email address. Don't worry, I won't use your address for spam.
It's only for updates on weekly winners and for getting a
heads up on upcoming matchups. If you don't want these either,
let me know by clicking on the contact
link, or just email me at dobie@dobiebowl.com.
C'mon it takes less than a minute, then you're on your way! |
|

| Step
#2 - Login.
Just enter the username and password you created and you're
in! |
|
| |
| Step
#3 - Make
your picks. Once you've logged in, you should be automatically
directed to the NFL weeks page. If not, you can always get back
there by clicking on the "NFL Weeks" button on the left side of the screen. These
picks can be updated right up until the games begin, then you'll
be locked in. |

| |
| Winners
- The
winner of each week
will be determined by the player who picks the most number of
games correctly. In the event of a tie, the tied player with
the closest total weekly score will be declared the winner.
The total weekly score will be determined by adding the score
of each team in each game together. These scores will be counted
for every matchup of the week even for weeks in which the players
failed to correctly pick the winner. The player's total score
can exceed the actual total score produced by the weeks matchups,
and still be counted as the closest. (i.e. Juts' total score
is 356, Dobie's total score is 340, the actual total score is
350, Juts wins 6 to 10) In the case of identical correct picks
and total weekly score, the winner will be determined by the
usual Rock, Paper, Scissors best of three, followed by throwing
darts blindfolded best of 7, and finally a duel to the death*.

| The Dobiebowl Football Trophy - Oh
yes, it's real. And I'm really mailing it to the player who wins this whole damn thing. In order to take home the glory, you'll need to make the most number of correct picks all year long. This includes The Regular Season, The Playoffs, and The Superbowl. This means, you don't hafta worry about losing again and again and again... and again, 'cause there are people out there unable or unwilling to play every week. You can get the one-up on 'em by shaking it off and continuing to play. The more you do, the better your chance at Dobiebowl immortality. |
